diffuse reflective sensors
Diffuse reflective sensors are innovative devices, which measure the light that is reflected off their surfaces to detect an object's presence or absence. These sensors send out a light source, often infrared, and then measure the intensity of the light that bounces back after hitting an object. The main functions of these sensors include object detection, edge detection and measurement for surface reflectivity. They have technological features such as compact design, durable construction and the ability to work under a variety of environmental conditions. There are many uses for diffuse reflective sensors in applications from industrial automation to robotics, and from traffic monitoring to consumer electronics. At the same time they either increase safety and efficiency or take over dangerous work thereby avoiding risks of harm that arise during human labor in these areas, which is worthy of note(2).
